What to expect when you start therapy with Rhonda.

Our first session is all about getting to know one another. I’ll ask some gentle, foundational questions about your life, childhood, and current challenges. You’re always in control—share only what feels comfortable, and feel free to skip anything you’re not ready to discuss. This helps me gain a fuller understanding of who you are and what you’ve experienced. You’re also welcome to ask me any questions you may have. If it feels right, we can begin talking about your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. We move at your pace—no pressure, no judgment—just a collaborative process grounded in safety and respect.

In our second session, going at a pace you feel comfortable, we will begin a deeper dive into your concerns. I will work to understand, really understand, what you are going through.

As we continue working together, we will explore the path that will help you increase understanding of yourself, learn new tools for managing symptoms, and begin to process and heal the wounds troubling you. I will describe the techniques I use and ask for feedback to find what works best for you. If something is not working we will pivot until we find what is effective for you.

My style is collaborative and client-centered, I see myself as a companion on your journey offering steady and compassionate support as we navigate the challenges you face. You will have a judgment-free space where all parts of you are welcome, and where healing can unfold at your pace.

My role is to offer a steading presence, a safe haven, and new tools to help you find your footing and move forward with purpose. Whether you're standing at a crossroads or scaling a difficult emotional summit, I’m here to support your climb—one step, one breath, one breakthrough at a time.
